Research into bio materials for our food production

Project Description

THE first float for cultivating crops with the hydroponics menthod made of a biological material: It is made of Mycelium with local agricultural rest-streams. Mycelium is the root network of mushrooms. This mycelium acts as a natural glue that can bind a biomass together.

This floats are an own development in collaboration with GrownBIO. The first one now floats in our test set-up at the Floriade.
